The Governments Power Over Free Speech

Most people believe that they have a right to free speech, but how far does that right go? The First Amendment gives you the right to say whatever you want, but that is where it stops. The politicians in the making might see where this is going. The First Amendment lets you say what you want, but you can still get punished by the government the second you're done speaking. When you tweet that political message, big government can remove it. The second it hits the internet, posters can get taken down, and voices get silenced. but hey it's not all bad. That one crazy person that yells some of the worst things you ever heard can get sent to jail, that's something.
But being serious now, it’s not all bad. The government can stop false information and dangers and illegal stuff. Being able to say anything can leave it open for people to exploit it in some terrible ways, and the government helps stop it and mitigate the damage. If we didn’t have the ability to, in a way, stop free speech, the world would probably be a lot worse.
A lot of what I'm saying is similar to what John Adams said about the First Amendment in the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798. If you would like a more in-depth look, check it out.

Nice essay! I think you made some good points, though I disagree with you on some parts, I think you made good, compelling points. I do think you could maybe reword some of your sentences to be a bit clearer in meaning as sentence two in particular in your essay was bit hard for me to understand what you were trying to say, but I still enjoyed reading your essay and think it was really good!
