Abraham Lincoln's Short Comings

Abraham Lincoln was considered a great president, but a lot of the reasons he is called a good president are just wrong. Abraham got rid of slavery. There are actually multiple points where he could have done that without a war. There was a meeting where major political leaders in the US got to gather and discussed what to do about the south. But Abraham Lincoln invited a certain amount of each party in order to register the votes to guarantee the war. And because of this America is one of the only that got rid of slavery with a war, must other countries did so piece fully.
