Telescopes are the most useful tool for observing the universe from our tiny rock. There are two kinds of telescopes: mirror and lens. The mirror telescopes are the only ones wewe build for large observatories today because of the cost and problems with lens telescopes. The telescope has an incredibly interesting history from its creation to the modern day. The telescope has been and will be the most important tool in astronomy.
