The discussion of morality is a fascinating topic such as the question, "would it be moral to grade exams so that all students get C's?" If not, is it moral for the state to redistribute incomes?

No, it's not moral to grade exams, so that all students get C's because students will not be graded on their merit. They would be graded on equality so there is no point in studying. Yes, no one will feel bad about failing the test, but no one will try to improve. But about the second part of the question.

No, if the state redistributes incomes so that every job gets the same amount of money everyone would go for lower-effort jobs. We will have no doctors and millions of taxi drivers. And the economy will crash so everyone will just leave for better living.
